Virginia B. Hasty, 86 years of Dupo, IL, passed away on September 15, 2020 at Integrity Health Care of Columbia, Columbia, IL. She was born September 4, 1934, in Rombauer, MO.
She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church in East Carondelet, IL.
Surviving are her nieces and nephews, Michael (Kim) Hood, Laurie (Mark) Bradley, Bryan Hood, Carolyn Evanicky, Joyce (Bill) Caswell, John (Meadow) Hood, Susan Carona; her great-nieces and great-nephews, "Little" Michael (Liz) Hood, Angela Hood, Jennifer Hood, Kevin Bradley, Michael Evanicky, Colton Evanicky, Jacob Evanicky, Victoria (Adam) Evans, Zachery Caswell, Brendan Caswell, Tristan Caswell, Stephan Caswell, Logan Hood, Sally Hood, Matthew Carona, Nathaniel Carona; her sister-in-law, Carol Hood; her friend, Bonnie Farone; along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond R. Hasty; her parents, Arlee and Edna, nee Mattingly, Hood; her sister, Fern, nee Hood, Thompson; her three brothers, Orval Hood, John Hood, Cecil Hood; and her nephew, Shannon Hood.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Manley officiating. Interment will follow in the Valhalla Gardens Of Memory, Belleville, IL.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to First Baptist Church, 101 S. 7th, East Carondelet, IL 62240.
