Pastor Vince was such a special, warm, and genuine human being. His passion for his faith and community shone through in everything that he did, especially in his dedicated work with the Hispanic community. Through his generous efforts, countless lives have been touched and improved. His legacy will always live on through the good works he has left behind, and I am honored that I had the chance to know him. My deepest sympathy to his family. May he rest in peace.
There are far too many memories to list, but a couple of my favorites are the time when Sarah had her first birthday, and being Dad's first grandchild, he sent her a swingset for our backyard.
Probably the most important one to me, however, was when I was in a near fatal car accident and was in in coma for 3 months. When I started coming around, the first thing I remember was hearing Dad and Mom bowing over me praying for my life. I will always be blessed by that.
My fondest memories of Gramps were during my summer visit to Toledo, where I spent my 7th birthday. Gramps and teddi went out of their way to entertain me. I had great fun for those 10 days or so. They gave me one of the best birthday parties I've ever had. He bought me my first Bible and and taught me my first bible verse: God is with thee and will keep thee in all places Genesis 28:15.
He always made me feel special, and loved very much.
Once, during my teenage "rebellious years" I flew into Lambert and he came to see me on a short notice, just to spend an hour or so to visit with me, when some of our family members would have run the opposite direction.
Yes, he will be greatly missed. And I still adore him.

I am so sorry for your loss and will be praying for all of you during this difficult time. Vince was a wonderful man and a great grandpa to the girls. They were very lucky to have had him in their lives.
To Teddi, Rob and the entire Ramirez family, I extend my deepest sympathy for the loss of your husband and father, Vince Ramirez. Please know that he was well respected and loved for his integrity, work ethics and even temperament.
Though Vince will be greatly missed by many, it is comforting to know that he is no longer suffering...rather resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior. May God bless and keep all of you.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to the Ramirez and Marshalek families. We are very thankful to have had the opportunity to spend Christmas dinner with Teddi and Vince, they always opened their hearts and home to everyone. We are very fortunate to have such special people in our lives, he will be missed very much. Please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

I remember lots of good and funny things from the past 40 years. My greastest times and memories were from my early teens. We went boating and camping almost every weekend. Yes boating and skiing with a Dad who swam like a rock. Oh yes, let's not forget the fishing. My Dad did not know how to do somethings but you would of never known. He would instruct me on how to water ski and laugh at me when I
crashed. One time I called him on it and said "let me see you do better". So after 4 or 5 of us ribbed him and dared him he finally was going to show us all. He put on
a life jacket and jumped in the water. Spaalooosh!!!!!!!!! He jumped in with his hands over his head and torpedoed straight down. Well he didn't have the life jacket on correctly so it shot off him and floated straight up. Then about 5 seconds later we all heard a THUD. Hands came up and grabbed the side of the boat and we hauled him in with a bump on his head and laughter pouring out of his mouth. We all laughed and laughed. 10 minutes later he was telling me how to tie a knot in my fishing line but that is another story.
