Victor J. Reichert , 83 years, of Columbia, IL, passed away at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL. He was born in Columbia, IL, the son of the late Adam and Anna (Koskubar) Reichert. He was married to Orlou (Crowe) Reichert, who survives him. They were married on May 3, 1947, at Columbia, IL.Vic was a retired printer with the St. Louis Post Dispatch, St. Louis, MO, served in the U.S. Navy, and was a Veteran of World War II. Memberships include the Knights of Columbus Council 6165, American Legion Post #581, Columbia Sportsman Club, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, where he was a member of the Holy Name Society, Columbia Gymnastic Assoc., Typographical Union Local 8, and had served the City of Columbia as an Alderman in the late 1980's.. He served as a Navy veteran of the World War II.
