Vickie Ann Wendel's Obituary
Vickie Ann, nee Hotz, Wendel, 61 years of East Carondelet, IL, passed away on July 24, 2018 at Bria Healthcare of Belleville, IL. She was born March 15, 1957, in East Saint Louis, IL.
Vickie had been an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dupo, IL, where she was a member of the choir. She enjoyed crafting jewelry and was an animal lover, who found thoroughly enjoyed her pets.
Surviving are her three sisters, Barbara (Bill) Reeg, Lois (Robert) Matula, and Patty (Danny) Rogers; sister-in-law, Donna Hotz; numerous neices, nephews and cousins, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Wendel; parents, Albert L. and Mariann, nee Clementz, Hotz; and brother, Gary Hotz;
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 1, 2018, 10:00 am - 11:00 am, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dupo, IL. Funeral mass will be held, Wednesday August 1, 2018, 11:00 AM, at church, with Fr. Linus Umoren C.M. officiating. Interment will follow in the Valhalla Gardens Of Memory, Belleville, IL.
