Vernon V. Schneider's Obituary
Vernon V. Schneider, 92, of Columbia, Illinois, passed away at St. Anthony's Hospital, Mehlville, MO. He was born in East St. Louis, Illinois, the son of the late Peter and Caroline (Eckert) Schneider. He was retired from Missouri Pacific Railroad and had been a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, where he was a former member of the Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus #6165, and American Legion Post #581, all of Columbia, IL. He served with the US Army during World War II. He was married to the late Marcella (Janson) Schneider. They were married on July 30, 1946. She passed away February 20, 1995.
