Vernon L. Wickell's Obituary
Vernon was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Mary, nee James, Wickell, his grandson, Matthew Wyatt and 3 sisters. Vernon is survived by his wife of 58 years, Arlene Wickell, nee Weis, his children, Jeffrey (Susan) Wickell of Belleville, Ill., Verlene Wyatt of Millstadt, Ill., Alan Wickell of Millstadt, Ill., and Bradley (Bette) Wickell of Millstadt, Ill., his grandchildren, Ashleigh Wickell and Elise Wickell, Step-grandchildren, Brandon Finn and Bradley Dilley, sister-in-law, Mary Wickell, 4 sister and other relatives and friends. Vernon was a retired carpenter. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Millstadt, Ill., and the Carpenters Union Local 1997 and he was a Korean War Navy Veteran. The family request that in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Millstadt Senior Center or to the family for future consideration.
