Vernon Howard Davis' Obituary
Vernon Howard Davis, 87, of Dupo, Ill., born, November 26, 1928 in Poplar Bluff, MO., passed away, Sunday, August 28, 2016 at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis, MO.
Mr. Davis retired from Day Bright Lighting Company in St. Louis, MO. He was a member Calvary General Baptist Church in Dupo, Ill., and he was a United States Navy Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Davis, nee Surber, his parents, Fred & Lila, nee Jones, Davis and brothers & sisters.
He is survived by his son, Dennis Davis, his daughter, Shirley Davis, his daughter, Vicki (Bill) Tutor, his son, Danny (Debbie) Davis & his son, Rick Davis, his sister, Faye Morris, his brother, Ronnie Davis, his sister, Marilyn, his brother, Gerald Davis, & his brother, Arlie Davis. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives & friends.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill.
Funeral will on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill., with Rev. Gale Lambert, officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, Ill.,
