Vernon E. Bracknell's Obituary
Vernon E Bracknell, 92 years of Baldwin, IL, passed away on July 7, 2018 in Sparta, IL. He was born April 26, 1926, in Weakly County, Tennessee.
Vernon worked as a Material Control Specialist for Caterpillar in Aurora, IL and was a member of the U.A.W. He was a member of the Red Bud Church of Christ in Red Bud, IL and was very active in the Sparta Senior Center.
Surviving are Sons, Richard (Ginny) Bracknell, Will Bracknell, Daughters, Linda Longoria and Macy Hubbard; 19 Grandchildren, 33 Great-Grandchildren and many Great-Great-Grandchildren, Sister, Carol Edwards, Special Friend, Dorothy Linders, along with many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Marjorie, nee Freeze, Bracknell, Son, Clifford Bracknell, Grandchildren, David Bracknell, David McCune, Angela Nielson, Parents, Jacob and Edna, nee Hunt, Bracknell, Brother, Troy Bracknell and Sister, Delsie Snider.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 11 from 4 - 7 pm at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud, IL. Services will be at 7 pm on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud, IL, with Mr. Dan Madrigal officiating. Interment will be Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 11 am at Red Bud City Cemetery in Red Bud, IL.
