Verna Joseph's Obituary
Verna Joseph, 86 years of Millstadt, Illinois, passed away on November 14, 2017 at Red Bud Regional Hospital in Red Bud, IL. She was born on August 1, 1931.
Verna was a long time cook for Weir Nursing Home in Swansea, IL. She loved to go "Yard Saling" and attend auctions, she was an excellent cook, hard worker, devoted family person, a great mother, and loved her dogs very much.
Surviving are children, Patsy Johnston, and Steven Joseph, grandchildren, James (Beth) Johnston, Jr., Shawn Johnston, Robin (David) Easton, and Shannon (Tim) Patton, great-grandchildren, Katie and Joey Johnston and Logan Patton, her brother-in-law, Raymond Joseph, sister-in-law, Eleanora Helfrich, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Irwin Joseph, her parents, Emil and Sophia, nee Honnecker, Eckert, son, Robert Joseph, brothers, Wilbert and Warren Eckert.
Visitation will be Friday, November 17, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, Ill.

Interment will follow in the Kolmer Memorial Park in Waterloo, Ill.
