Vera K. (Mize) Rodenhofer, 86, of Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away at Bethesda Southgate Nsg. Ctr., St. Louis, MO. She was born in East St. Louis, IL, the daughter of the late Floyd and Bernice (Henson) Mize. She was married to Read Obituary
I truly loved Vera. We bowled together for years and went to many a state tournaments. She was an absolute doll. When you surround yourself with women who evoke a strong sense of self, that's what you get with Vera.
I'm so sorry to hear of her loss. The world just lost a dear friend and a great human being.
I would like to send my condolence to the Rodenhofer family. In reading the obituary it is obvious that Vera lived a long life, the Bible speaks of individuals like Vera as having "special mightiness" (Psalms. 90:10) In times like this I reflect on the God's promise in John 5;28,29 of a resurrection of our dead loved ones. My deepest sympathies to the family. I got to know Vera from being in Evansville Il. She was such a great person to be with. Loved by everyone whom ever crossed paths with her. Rest in peace my beautiful friend.

I just found yesterday and would like to offer my sincere sympathies for your loss.
It has been 16 years since Dad passed away and it stll sometimes doesn't seem possible. I know the Lord will get the family through this as He got me through Dad's and my wife just 4 years ago.
