Vera Evelyn Carter's Obituary
Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Carter, her father, Charles Bacon, her sister, Betty Rowe, her son-in-law, Edward Mogg, her grandchildren, Laurie (Stufflebean) Roland and Timothy Stufflebean, her great grandson, Zachary Hanse and her dear friend Lucille Hopson. She is survived by her daughters, Janeth Mogg, nee Stufflebean, Carol (Jim) Green, Deborah (Edward) Scott and sons, James Carter and Thomas (Trudy) Carter. She is also survived by her grandchildren and their spouses, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. Vera was known by many children as Grandma and Mimi in the community. Vera was a home maker. She was a member of Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo, Ill., a life member of the VFW Post 6368 Ladies Auxiliary in Dupo, Ill., and a Cub Scout leader for Pack 630 for many years. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo, Ill.
