Venita Mildred "Hookie" Greenfield, 85 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL. She was born in Kirkwood, MO, the daughter of the late Phillip F. and Johanna (Huetel) Wahlig. Venita will be fondly remembered as the owner and operator of Greenfield's Tavern, Columbia, IL. She had previously worked with Southwestern Bell, Belleville, IL as an operator and supervisor for some 35 years. She was married to the late Harry W. Greenfield Sr. He had passed away February 11, 1993.
