Tony Masilonus' Obituary
Tony Masilonus, 92, of Millstadt, Ill, born January 7, 1924 in Nokomis, Ill, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis, MO.
Tony was a retired Maintenance Engineer from Stag Brewery. He was a member of VFW Post 7980 in Millstadt, Ill., American Legion Post 502 in Millstadt, Ill., Masonic Lodge in Belleville, Ill., and he was a WWII Navy Veteran serving in the Pacific on a landing ship.
Tony was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Valer Ruth, nee Bandy, Masilonus and his parents, Peter & Pauline, nee Doltz, Masilonus.
Tony is survived by his daughter, Candy Baltz, his grandchildren, Jacob (Diane) Baltz, Neal Baltz, & Eric Baltz, his great grandchildren, Brayden, Abiegail and Ethan Baltz, his sister, Isabel (Carl) Adden, he is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Humane Society of St. Clair County.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, Ill.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, Ill., Rev. David Krueger, officiating.
Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, Ill.
