Timi Louise Swarm's Obituary
Timi Louise Lucero Swarm, 59, from Columbia, IL. Passed away on January 16, 2025 at Jefferson Barracks Veterans Hospital in St Louis, MO.
Timi was born in Harbor City, CA to Domingo (Mike) Lucero and Susan (Hamilton) Klotz on October 11, 1965. She married Mark Swarm on August 31, 2013.
Timi was a loving and caring person who put her family and friends ahead of herself. Her family was her life. She loved spending time with her grandkids and spoiling them. She also enjoyed antiquing and shopping at flea markets, always looking to see the potential a unique find could have. She had a creative eye and skill, where she utilized by crafting wreaths, DIY projects and more.
She joined the US Navy in 1984, and served 20 years. She served in the Philippines, Corpus Christi, TX, Alameda, CA, Guam, Oak Harbor, WA, and Yokosuka, Japan.
Timi leaves behind her husband, Mark Swarm, her daughters Megan Runge (Jenny Yip) of Alameda, CA, Paige Trevino of Magnolia, TX, Zoe Roadman (Brendan) of Collinsville, IL and her sons Kyle Branum of Omaha, NE, Dustin Swarm (Erin) of Iowa City, IA, Stephen Swarm (Katie) of Cicero, IN and Trent Swarm of Highland, IL. She is also survived by her mother Susan Klotz (Mike), brother Richard Lucero of Middleborough, MA, sisters Blanca O’Brien (Jeff) of Omaha, NE, and Mandi Willis (Kris) of Mico, TX. She loved her grandchildren Paisley and David Smith, Janelle and Jorma Swarm, Evelyn Roadman, and Juniper and Ellis Swarm. She is also survived by her father and mother in law, Jerry and Sandra Swarm along with her aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Domingo Lucero.
Graveside services will be held January 31st, 2025 at 1:00pm at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Meet at Leesman Funeral Home, Columbia, IL, at 12:15pm to join the motorcade and Patriot Guard to the cemetery. Following will be a memorial service to celebrate Timi’s life, with some of her favorite foods, at The Pavilion at Lemay, in Jefferson Barracks Park. To celebrate her life, we ask that attendees incorporate the color purple into your attire.
