Tim Szakacsi's Obituary
Tim Louis Szakacsi, 61 years of Dupo, IL, passed away on March 13, 2025 at his residence. He was born May 14, 1963, in Centreville, IL.
Tim worked for Amazon in the warehouse on the packing line in Edwardsville, IL. He enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues. His favorite band was Kiss, along with many other classic rock groups. Pawn Stars was one of his favorite shows to watch. He loved the companionship of Nathaniel's cat, Harvey.
Surviving are his Son, Nathaniel Szakacsi; Sister, Jane (Dennis) Willenborg; Niece, Rachel (Brian) Alexander; Nephew, Keith Brown; Great Nieces and Nephews, Collin Kelley, Chloe Kelley and Noah Alexander; along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Andrew L. and Helen J. (nee Koch) Szakacsi and Brother, Terry Szakacsi.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 29, 2025, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Leesman Funeral Home, Dupo, IL. Services will be held at 3pm, following visitation, with Rev. Todd Mushaney officiating.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Helping Strays of Monroe County.
