Thomas M. Sheehey, 51 of Millstadt, Ill., born, August 3, 1963 in Belleville, Ill., passed away on Friday, February 27, 2015 in Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill.
Mr. Sheehey worked for Sigma Aldrich. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Belleville, Ill.
Mr. Sheehey was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas R. & Mary Ann, nee Healy, Sheehey and his father-in-law, David Chappell.
Mr. Sheehey is survived by his wife, Susan L. Sheehey, nee Chappell, his daughters, Haley & Emily Sheehey, his sisters, Patricia (Clark) Ferry & Mary Margaret “Peg” Sheehey. He was a dear brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many.
Tom lived his life to the fullest and truly enjoyed hunting, fishing & golfing with the JFL, Mizzou Tailgaters, and spending time with his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society or Stray Rescue.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Strauss-Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, Ill.
Funeral Mass will be on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Belleville, Ill., with Monsignor Marvin Volk, officiating.
Interment will be in Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Belleville, Illinois.
