Thomas Richard Cushman's Obituary
Thomas Richard Cushman, age 66, of Arlington, NE passed away on June 6, 2024, in St. Louis, Mo.
He was born on April 9, 1958, in Blair, Nebraska. Tom is the oldest of 3 children of Rex and Arlene Cushman. Tom loved cattle and horses. Growing up in Nebraska and Texas you could find him with horse and buggy on the Arlington streets. Tom graduated from Keye Paha County High School in 1976. After high school he joined his father in driving truck. Tom drove to all 48 states for the last 38 years. Tom enjoyed fishing trips with his brother Rocky, dad and uncle Eddy. He had a love for dogs and his good boy Jr will miss him greatly.
Tom is survived by his mother, Arlene (Ehrhardt) Cushman of Arlington, NE; sister Cathy and Luis Young of Hooper, NE; brother Rocky Cushman of Montana; nieces Becky and Cory Hull of Scribner NE, Mildred Young of Hooper, NE; nephew Daniel Young of Hooper, NE; 2 great nephews and 4 great niece, Special Friend Josepha Reyes and family of Edinburgh, Texas. and many cousins.
Tom was preceded in death by his father, Rex Cushman, his grandparents Thomas and Mamie Cushman and John and Mildred Ehrhardt, and also many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The memory of Tom will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Memorial service will be held at a later date.
