Theresa C. Collier, 94 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at Columbia Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Columbia, IL. She was born in Columbia, IL, the daughter of the late John and Theresa (Schuchardt) Gummersheimer. She was married to the late Mark M. Collier. They were married on September 20, 1941. He passed away December 10, 1997.
Theresa had worked at Gossard Garment Co., Millstadt, IL and had been a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL, where she was an active quilter, Columbia Senior Citizens, Order of the Eastern Star #98 - Rob Morris Chapter Fairview Heights, IL, Columbia Gymnastic Association Auxiliary, where she was famous for her 'secret' potato salad recipe, and the Monroe County Farm Bureau.
