Thekla M. (Matychowiak) Zimmermann, 94 yrs., of Belleville, IL, passed away at St. Paul's Home, Belleville, IL. She was born in Tamaroa, IL, the daughter of the late Edmund and Eva (Nikrant) Matychowiak. She was a member of St. Peter's Cathedral Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Perpetual Help Sodality. Thekla's passion in life was sewing, through the years she became an accomplished seamstress. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She was married to the late Edward J. Zimmermann. They were married on May 6, 1941, in Belleville, IL. He had passed away November 10, 2002.
