Terry R Ott's Obituary
Terry R Ott, 74 years of Belleville, IL, passed away on May 14, 2025 at his residence. He was born January 4, 1951, in Belleville, IL.
Terry proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He worked at Peabody Coal, then later retired from Granite City Steel. Terry loved to be outdoors, especially when he was fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed taking camping trips. His most cherished moments were spent with his grandchildren. A true fighter, Terry was a 20 year cancer survivor.
Surviving are his Children, Kimberly (Pete) Ache and Kevin (Aimee) Ott; Grandchildren, Brooke, Kyle, Hayden, Carson, and Kenzlie; Sister, Janice (Ron) Dreyer; Brother, Thomas Ott; along with nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Willard and Amelia (Klaas) Ott.
Per Terry's wishes, cremation rites were accorded with private graveside services.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 8, 2025 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Cutter's in Belleville, IL.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the American Cancer Society #5 Schiber Ct., Maryville, IL 62062 .
