OBITUARY
Tammie Vollmer
Tammie Lynn "Tootse" Vollmer, nee Rahn, 64, of Millstadt, IL., born February 28, 1960, in Red Bud, IL., passed away on February 2, 2025, in St. Louis, MO.
Tammie was a devoted wife and mother, but she was much more. She will be fondly remembered for her cooking, especially known for her Thanksgiving turkey dressing, made a great chicken & dumplings, apple pie and spicy pretzels. She proudly converted to Catholicism honoring a promise to herself she made to do so before Landan graduated from St. James Catholic Grade School. Professionally, Tammie started her career with St. Louis University Hospital then Missouri Baptist Hospital and finally to Belleville Memorial Hospital which later became BJC retiring recently after 45 plus years of dedicated service.
Surviving are loving husband Dan Vollmer; her dear son, Landan Vollmer; mother Darlene Rahn, nee Easter; sister, Tina Stapleton; brother, Dean Rahn; niece, Amber (Alan) Piel with their children Avery, Aubrey and Addyson; along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Madison Vollmer; father, Phillip "Moon" Rahn; brother Jeffrey Rahn.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 5, 2025, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home - Millstadt, IL., and 9:00 am - 10:00 am Thursday at St. James Catholic Church - Millstadt, IL., where funeral mass will be at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in the Mt. Evergreen Cemetery, Millstadt, Illinois.
