Steven Lynn Elder's Obituary
Steven Lynn Elder, 60 yrs., of Freeburg, IL, and formerly of Columbia, IL, passed away at Jefferson Barracks V.A. Hospice, St. Louis, MO. He was born in Belleville, IL, the son of the late George V. and Zelma E., nee Blechle, Elder. Steve was very much the strong and silent type, gentle of heart, and humble to a fault. He was a friend to all animals and supported the Humane Society. He had served in the U.S. Army as well as the U.S. Navy.
