Steven W. Brown's Obituary
Steven W. Brown, 63 of Dupo, Ill., born September 4, 1953 in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Steve was retired from the Village of Dupo as chief plant operator for water distribution. He was a former president of the Dupo Boosters.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Delmar Brown.
Steve is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jean “Jeannie” Brown, nee Metz, his daughter, Stacy (Heath) Williams, his two sons, Matt (Michelle) Brown and Ben Brown, his three grandchildren, Emily & Katie Williams and Harrison Brown, his mother, Pat Brown, his brother, Mike Brown, his sister, Stephanie (Kevin) Rowe, he is also survived by his in-laws, aunts, uncle, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Memorials may be made to Dukare or to shop with a cop.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill.
Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill.,
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes, Ill with graveside services at 1:00 p.m.
