Stephen W. Goforth's Obituary
Stephen W. Goforth, 59 years, of Waterloo, IL, passed away on September 23, 2020 at Mercy Hospital South, St. Louis, MO. He was born January 2, 1961, in Mildenhall, Suffolk, England. He was married to the love of his life, the late Cathy, nee Brown, Goforth. They were married August 4, 1984, in Columbia, IL. She passed away November 21, 2016.
Stephen had been employed as a warehouse manager with SiteOne Landscape Supply, Pontoon Beach, IL. He was an amazing father and friend. He was funny, sarcastic, always the life of the party. His great passion in life was beer.
Surviving are his daughter, Kelly (Nate) Reinhold of Columbia, IL; father, Dale Graff of Columbia, IL; sister, Sue (Gary) Wenkel of Branson, MO; brothers, Robert Goforth of Dupo, IL, and Bradley (Cherril) Graff of St. Petersburg, IL, nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by biological parents, Robert Goforth Sr. and Dorothy, nee Weston, Graff; aunt, Judy Ann Kremmel.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 26, 2020, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm, at Immanuel Lutheran Church LCMS, Waterloo, IL. Private funeral services will be held following visitation at church with Rev. Tony Troup officiating. Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery, Millstadt, IL.
