When we were young I have great memories of us all going to 'Uncle Stan's Cabin' only to later find out it was actually a trailer near a lake. The fishing was still great and Uncle Stan was there which made it even better.
We will miss you Uncle Stan.
We love you and miss you Uncle Stan!
Uncle Stan had a smile as big as his laugh and we will always remember him for it. Heaven just got a wonderful man.
I met Stan and Bev came to worship at United Methodist Church in New Athens. They were both so very nice and thoughtful people. It was always a joy to talk to them. I have often thought of them especially after moving to Red Bud. I am so blessed to have had the chance to meet them. He will be truly missed.
We are very sorry for the loss of this great man. He was a very kind and caring man. He shared his life long wisdom and love, with my two children Dustin and Ashley Blackwell. They will miss their Grandpa Stan very much. May he rest in peace.
Like my cousin Terry, most of my memories of Uncle Stan were in my boyhood, but the greatest memory is the 12guage double-barrel shot gun he gave to me for Duck hunting, which I still have.
Its been years but your memories live on in our lives, you'll be truely missed.
