Shirley Mary O'Brien's Obituary
Shirley Mary O'Brien, 80, of Columbia, Illinois, passed away at her residence, following a ten year battle with cancer. She was born in Waterloo, Illinois, the daughter of Edward and Dorothy (Miller) Schaffer. She was retired as a teller from Monroe National Bank, Columbia, IL and had been a member of the Altar Sodality at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL, Columbia Senior Citizens, and had volunteered for many years with the American Red Cross Blood Drives. She married Daniel O'Brien on October 4, 1952. He passed away February 7, 1995
