Shirley J. Morrow's Obituary
Shirley J. Morrow, 86 years of Columbia, IL, passed away at her residence on August 3, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 10, 1931, the daughter of the late Carl Cook and Mary Elizabeth Lockhart. She was married to the late Joel H. Morrow. They were married November 24, 1949, in Columbia, IL. He passed away February, 5, 1999.
Shirley was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL, and American Legion Post 581 Auxiliary, Columbia, IL
Surviving are her daughter, Denise (Kirk) Fisher; grandchildren, Tanya (Ryan) Hunsaker, Jaime (Chris) Fisher, Jennifer (Dax) Fuentes, and Tony (Becky) Morrow; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Megan, Ryan, Luke, Lucy, Boden, Jack, Jordan, Mitchell, Dallas, and Aidan; great-great granddaughter, Charlotte; brother, Cameron (Kathleen) Cook; her puppy, Missy; along with other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by son, Morris "Mo" Morrow.
Visitation will be Monday, August 6, 2018, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 pm, Monday August 6, 2018 at church, with Rev. Kristofer Avise-Rouse officiating. Interment will follow in the Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
