Shirley M. Marquardt, nee Bievenue, 79 years of Millstadt, IL, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Red Bud Regional Care Facility, Red Bud, IL. She was born August 22, 1941, in Prairie Du Rocher, IL.
Shirley was a retired kitchen and bath designer at Lee's Home Center in Millstadt, IL She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prairie du Rocher, IL.
Surviving are her children, Mark (Evelyn) Marquardt, Susanne (Brian) Garleb, and Lynelle (Dave Luepke)) Korte, her grandchildren, Amanda (Travis) Ervin, David (Ann) Marquardt, Beth Korte, Matt Korte and A.J. Garleb, her great-grandchildrens, Hudson Marquardt, Max Marquardt, Brianna Ervin, Beau Marquardt, Landrie Ervin and Georgia Marquardt, her sister, Diane (Jeff) Corzine, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Leo and Frances, C., nee Wiegard, Bievenue, and her two Brothers, Ronald (Mary) Bievenue and Dale Bievenue.
In accord with Shirley's wishes cremation will be held. There will be no public services.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to: Gibault High School, 501 Columbia Ave., Waterloo, IL, 62298.
