Sharon A. Stallmann's Obituary
Sharon Ann Stallmann, nee Vogt, 75 years of Millstadt, IL, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024 at her residence. She was born February 10, 1949, in Belleville, IL.
Sharon was a home maker. She was a member of Concordia United Church of Christ in Belleville, IL., where she was baptized, confirmed, married and had taught Sunday School and was a member of the women's guild. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, cooking and baking.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Edgar Stallmann, Jr., whom she married on July 24, 1971, her daughter, Lisa Stallmann, her son, Dale (Heather) Stallmann, and her son, Dean Stallmann, her brothers; Dennis Vogt, Allen Vogt, and Dale (Sherri) Vogt, her sister-in-law, Joy Vogt, her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Judy (Milton II) Smith, her nieces and nephews, Derek (Kelly) Vogt, Megan Vogt, Ashley Vogt, Todd Vogt, Joy (Derek) McAllister, Mindy Smith and Milton (Becca) Smith III, her great nieces and great nephews, Nolan, Steve, Ethan, Meredith, Lane and Logan, step-sisters, Vicky Brennan and Kathy Scharf, step-brothers; Dan and Mark Scharf, special family; Hadley, Sawyer, Kati, and Marty Hrabusicky, step-nephews, Keith (Jennifer) Brennan and Eric Brennan, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Lester and Florence Edna, nee Scharf, Vogt, her step-mother, Rose Marie Scharf Vogt, her twin sister, Karen, her brother, Roger Earl Vogt, and step-brother, Marty Scharf.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL, and on Saturday, March 9, 2024, 9:00 am - 10:00 am at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday March 9, 2024, at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL., with Rev. Joan Mier, officiating. Interment will follow in the Concordia U.C. of C. Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Concordia United Church of Christ 7600 State Route 163, Belleville, IL 62223.
