Sharon K Hale's Obituary
Sharon K. Hale (Wrigley), 83, died August 21st, 2023, at her residence. She was born April 15th, 1940, in Caseyville, IL, daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Wrigley (Burrelsman).
Sharon Graduated from Academy of Notre Dame, Class of 1958. Following graduation, she worked in accounting at Ralston Purina and Peabody Coal. Later she was a short order cook for Caseyville Restuarant for many years. Sharon was a devoted member of Sterling Baptist Church in Fairview Heights, IL. Sharon loved volunteering for her Community along with the Women's Fire Auxiliary Club and the Garden Club.
Sharon was proceeded in death by her husband of 49 years Herbert Hale, son Herbert Hale, Jr., her parents Samuel and Elizabeth Wrigley (Burrelsman), sisters Verna and Bernice (Otto) Schaefer, brothers Edward (Mary) Wrigley, Leon (Inez) Wrigley, and Samuel (Audrey) Wrigley. She is survived by her son Jeffrey Hale, her granddaughter Amanda Hale (Jeffrey Kypta) and her grandsons Herbert (Whitney) Hale and Tyler Hale. Sharon had many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am Saturday, August 26th, 2023 at Sterling Baptist Church in Fairview Heights, IL. Visitation will be held 10:00am - 11:00am Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Sterling Baptist Church, Fairview Heights, IL. Burial will follow at Caseyville Cemetery with Pastor Edward Ingram officiating. The family invited friends and family to gather for lunch following burial service at Sterling Baptist Church.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to help with Sharon's final arrangements would be much appreciated and can be made to Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL.
