Sgt. Anthony Robert Silva, 25 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away in Denver, CO. He was born in Inglewood, CA, the son of Dave and Diane (Blank) Silva, who survive him. Sgt. Silva was serving in the U.S. Army, 4th Infantry Division - K Company, based at Ft. Carson, Colorado Springs, CO, and had previously been stationed in South Korea, he was a graduate of Columbia, IL High School - Class of 2004. He was a member of American Legion Post 581, and St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL. His dog, Jack, and cat, Gizmo, were his pride and joy.
