Sandra A. Russell's Obituary
Sandra Ann Russell, 74, of Dupo, IL, born November 7, 1942 at St. Mary’s Hospital, in St. Louis, MO., passed away Friday January 6, 2017 peacefully in her sleep at her home in Dupo, IL.
Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Lorena, Nee Brucker, Steele.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ronald Russell, her daughter, Rebecca McMahon and son in law Tom McMahon, her son Michael Russell and daughter in law Christine Russell, Brothers Gary Steele (Sandra's Twin), Ronald Steele, grandchildren, Jamie McMahon, Jerry Ashcraft, Jared McMahon, Sara Cordevant, Lauren Russell, Derrek Settles, Scott Russell, Freddie McMahon, Destiny McMahon, Elise McMahon, great grandchild Alec McMahon, Denna Ashcraft, Shay Ashcraft. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Sandra's wishes where to be cremated, so there will be a time of remembrance and visitation on Saturday, January 21st from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 2118 South Morrison Rd. Caseyville, IL. 62232
There will be a short Memorial service that will start at 1:00 p.m. immediately following visitation at Calvary Pentecostal Church.
Please join us for fellowship and food and the sharing of memories of a woman gone too soon.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Sandra was very passionate about homeless and animal shelters and donated much of her time to these causes.
