Sandra L. Runge's Obituary
Sandra L. Runge, 80 years of Evansville, IL, passed away on November 19, 2025 at her residence. She was born November 14, 1945, in Raymond, WA.
Sandra worked as a Customer Service Clerk for Union Pacific Railroad for over 41 years. She retired from her role on July 15, 2015. After retirement, she loved to tend to her flowers and settle down with a good book. Her and Don, whom she married on September 11, 1998, enjoyed their time together. They loved to take little road trips and go out to dinner together. Sandra loved spending time with her family and friends, making lots of unforgettable memories.
Surviving are her Husband, Donald Runge; Daughter, Jennifer Laughlin; Step-sons, Duane Runge and Brent (Brooke) Runge; Grandson, Hayden; In-laws, Melba Bierman, Larry Runge, Debbie (Ronald) Umbdenstock, and Jeri Runge; several nieces and nephews; along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Father and Mother-in-Law, Roy and Viola (nee Brunkhorst) Runge; Brothers-in-Law, Gary Runge, Edward Runge and Richard Runge.
Per Sandra's wishes, no services will be held.
In lieu of customary remembrances and flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
