Ruth E. Raitt's Obituary
Ruth E. Raitt, nee Weissenborn, 99 years old of Dupo, IL, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at her residence. She was born June 26, 1921, in St. Louis, MO.
Mrs. Raitt was a member of Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo, IL., Women's Fellowship at Christ United Church of Christ, and Past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star 597. She was a junior high teacher for 10 years.
Surviving are her daughter, Reverend Charlene Raitt, her grandchildren, Angie Raitt McMahon & Christopher Raitt; her daughter-in-law, Suzanne McClain, 5 great grandchildren, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles & Elsie, nee Koehn, Weissenborn; her husband, Charles T. Raitt; and her son, Charles W. Raitt.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL.
Private burial will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021.
Memorial Service will be on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo, IL., with Rev. Todd Mushaney, officiating.
Interment will be in the Bellerive Gardens Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
