Holly and Tammy, I lived next to your mom growing up. A few memories for you from "Old Merremac". We played "Kick the Can", Handy Over" ( only old people remember those games) lol. We played dolls in that basement, then your mom would make graham crackers with icing and red koolaid and we'd have a picnic in the woods. We skated on the ice in that slash that still runs there. Your mom always reminded me of your grandma Lark! So caring about other people always smiling. She sure loved you girls. I knew your dad too. My husband Tim Ribbing worked with him on the railroad. I once told your mom that Tim said Jim was the best person he ever worked for! I know he was waiting for your mom in Heaven! She will be missed by everyone!!! June Brellinger Ribbing
I attended school with Ruth in Valmeyer and was pleased to become reacquainted with her at the Columbia Legion years later. She was a wonderful person. I know she will be dearly missed.
