Mrs. Wachtel was preceded in death by her parents: Emerich & Mary, nee Hopp, Kreher, her husband: Leo Wachtel, a son: Donald L. Wachtel, a daughter: Grace Boggs, brothers: Edward, Emerich, & William Kreher, and sisters: Betty Maurer & Appolonia Birkner. Mrs. Wachtel is survived by her son-in-law: David E. Boggs of Kansas City, MO., three grandchildren: Greg (Louise) Boggs of Kansas City, MO., Mark (Dana) Boggs of Kansas City, MO., & DeeDee (Jim) Aubrey of Sumiton, AL., her caretakers: Ruth & Robert Speichinger of Millstadt, IL. She is also survived by other relatives & friends. Memorials may be made in the form of masses to St. James Catholic Church building fund or to Heartland Hospice.
