Ruth was preceded in death by her husband: Lester J. Pistor, whom she married February 28, 1946, her parents: Anton & Anna, nee Frierdich, Vogt, her only child: Anthony "Tony" A. Pistor, who died August 2, 2006, and two sisters: Esther Briesacher & Marcella Hatter. Ruth is survived by her two grandsons: Dan Pistor & Nicholas Pistor, her daughter-in-law: Linda Pistor, nee Dieckmann, her two sisters: Erdline Lippert & Adele Schuff, her three nieces: Bonnie Mueller, Sheila (John) Campe, & Doreen (Tom) Baltz, her two nephews: Jim & John Klotz, her three great nieces: Lori (Gene) Stumpf, Lisa (Bryan) Braun, & Gina (Bill) Clossen, her three great nephews: Scott Baltz, Todd Baltz, & Jeff Campe, she is also survived by great great nieces and nephews, other relatives & friends. Memorials may be made to VFW Post 7980 in Millstadt, IL. or St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, IL.
