Russell Weston Sr. was born in Gorham, Illinois, son of the late Luther and Lillie (Needham) Weston. He was a member of New Harmony Church, Waterloo, Illinois. He was the husband of Arbah Jo (Lyerla) Weston, who survives him. They were married on March 28, 1953.
