Ruby V Faust's Obituary
Ruby Velma Faust, 93 years of Columbia, IL, passed away on December 6, 2025, at Dammert Geriatric Center, Belleville, IL. She was born November 1, 1932, in Preston, IL, to the late Henry William and Anna Kathrina, nee Henrici, Stamm.
Ruby was born and raised in the area. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Columbia and after retiring from the May Company she loved tending to her garden and canning what she could from it. She was a member of the Columbia American Legion Post 581, and she also liked playing cards and going fishing. But what she enjoyed the most was spending time with her family.
Surviving are her children; Raymond G. Faust, Michael (Cheryl) Faust of Collinsville, IL and Janice (David) Schenewerk of Belleville, IL, son-in-law, Steve Wilson, grandchildren; Cristal Faust, Michelle (Scott) Moore, Daniel Wilson, Melissa (Tyler) Tiefenbrunn, Geneva (Davon Phipps) Faust and Nicholas Faust, great-grandchildren; Tate Moore, Averi Moore, Tyler Tiefenbrunn and Darie Tiefenbrunn, niece, Carol Faust, along with other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by loving husband of 27 years, Raymond W. Faust and her daughter, Diane Wilson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 10:00am to 11:00am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL. Services will be at 11:00am immediately after the visitation, with Fr. Carl Scherrer officiating. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Columbia, Illinois.
