Royce E. Coy, 90, of Columbia, Ill., born, March 1, 1926 in Neafus, KY., died, Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Eden Retirement Center, Glen Carbon, Ill.,
Royce was a pastor for 50 years, having last served at Christian Assembly Church in Millstadt, Ill. Royce in his time of ministry had 3 churches built and served as pastor at 13 different churches.
Royce was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Sue Coy and his parents, William Cornelius and Lillie Coy.
Royce is survived by his son, Steve (Cathy) Coy, his grandchildren, Christopher Steven (Jennifer) Coy and Andrew Royce (Samantha) Coy, his great grandchildren, Sam, Lola and Lara Coy, his sisters, Magdalene Hornung and Sue Croan, nephews and nieces, a very special niece, Kay (Joe) Pickett and their son Taylor. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Christian Assembly Church (720 S. Illinois St.) in Millstadt, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Christian Assembly Church in Millstadt, Ill., with pastors Steve Coy and Donald Griner, officiating
Burial will be in Sunset Burial Park in St. Louis, MO.
