Roy Joseph Limestall Jr.'s Obituary
Roy Joseph Limestall, 91 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at Kindred Hospital, St. Louis, MO. He was born in Fults, IL, the son of the late Roy J. Sr. and Eleanore (Kemp) Limestall. Roy was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL, Columbia Sportsmans Club, Columbia Gymnastic Association, Columbia Senior Citizens, and had served as a Past-President of the Columbia Lions Club. He had served in the U.S. Naval Air Reserves from 1947-1959. He was an avid Kloepper player and enjoyed Wednesday card playing with the men and Friday with the ladies at the YMCA. Most of his friends will fondly remember Roy's bountiful garden, especially the lettuce he shared with them. He was a retired Superintendent with Parks Air College, Cahokia, IL. He was married to the late Mae (Juengling) Limestall. They were married on October 22, 1946, in Columbia, IL. she passed away May 23, 2008.
