Roy was preceded in death by his parents: George & Elizabeth, nee Washausen, Wolfmeier and his sisters: Viola Wolfmeier & Esther Mergelkamp. He is survived by his wife of 63 years: Dorothy, nee Mehrtens, Wolfmeier, whom he married April 4, 1948, his sons: Robert (Marge) Wolfmeier of Millstadt, IL. & Ronald (Regina) Wolfmeier of Millstadt, IL., his daughter: Marlene (David) Dow of Columbus, IN., his grandchildren: Reshell (Bobby) Schmidt, Rebecca (Matt) Schmidt, Eric (Beth) Wolfmeier, Robbie Wolfmeier, Patrick Dow, Jill Wolfmeier, Andy Dow, & Matthew Dow, his great grandchildren: Jackson Schmidt, Jacob Schmidt, Andrea Vilchez, & Claudia Vilchez. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends. Roy was the owner of Roy Wolfmeier Truck Service for 60 years. He was a member of Zion Evangelical Church, Scottish Rite Bodies, Columbia Masonic Lodge 474 A.F. & A.M., Belleville High Twelve, Ainad Temple, Millstadt Commercial Club, Midwest Truckers, Millstadt Sister Cities Organization and St. Louis Metro Polka Club. He was a United States Army World War II Veteran. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity Hospice, Zion Evangelical Church in Millstadt, IL. or Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children.
