Rosalind E. (Mehrmann) Blittersdorf , 93, of Springfield, IL, and formerly of Columbia, IL, passed away at St. John's Hospice, Springfield, IL. She was born in Valmeyer, IL, the daughter of Charles and Ida (Gerber) Mehrmann. She had worked at Columbia Unit #4 School District and had been a member of St. Paul U.C.C., Columbia, IL, where she had been active with the Junior Women's League, Order of the Eastern Star - Rob Morris Chapter #98, where she had served as a past Worthy Matron, past Grand Lecturer, and past Grand Representative to Missouri and Massachusetts, Daughters of The Nile - Chapter #29 Al SiHah, White Shrine, Royal Neighbors of America, Memorial Hospital Aux., Belleville, IL, a past Columbia Senior Girl Scout Leader, Columbia Women's Club, and had been a past Sunday School Teacher at St. John's U.C.C., Valmeyer, IL. She was married to the late Kermit O. Blittersdorf, who had passed away on September 5, 2000.
