Ronnie Schroeder's Obituary
Ronnie Schroeder, 62 of Millstadt, IL, born December 25, 1961, to the late Albert Fred and Mary Ann Schroeder passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024, in St. Louis, MO.
Ron was a loving husband and father and always cherished the times at family gatherings displaying his skills with a BBQ grill and playing washers and corn hole. He and Shirley enjoyed their weekend road trips in their Corvette. Ron an avid sports fan, he was enthusiastic for the St. Louis Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys. He will be fondly remembered along with his brother Rory as being a pool shark and enjoying his favorite movie Saturday Night Fever. In his professional career, Ron started working for Carquest at the age of 15 for over 30 years eventually leading to owning three of his own stores. Later in his career he was a Senior Vice President for Intertel upon retiring.
Surviving are his loving wife Shirley Schroeder; sons, Dallas Schroeder of Dallas, TX., Zach Schaffer of Creve Coeur, MO., Austin Schroeder of Millstadt, IL. and Brent Koller of Cahokia Heights, IL.; His brothers, Rory and Rodney Schroeder and his step sister Nancy Wakefield, as well as his many friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 18, 2024, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Leesman Funeral Home, Columbia, IL., with the Memorial Service at 6:00 pm.
