Ronald Joseph Carron Sr.'s Obituary
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents: Albert & Edith Carron & his sister: Patricia Gilbert. He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Ellen Carron, his children: Ronda (Greg) Wiens, Debra Carron, and Ronald Joseph (Christina) Carron II, his grandchildren: Joseph Francois, Mindy Hansen, Rachel Maciel, Jesse Thacker, Brandi Francois, Jadan Francois, Dylan Wiens & Grace Carron, along with 5 great grandchildren, is sister: Barbara Reeves, his step-brothers: Jim & Delbert Wood, he is also survived by other relatives and friends. Ronald retired as a Master Sergeant with the U.S. Navy, having served during the Korean War and decorated China Service. While serving in the U.S. Navy, he was awarded the good conduct award and was a member of the National Defense and United Nations. Ronald was a shift supervisor for Coffeen Power Plant for 16 years and coached Little League and Legion baseball in Vandalia for many years, touching the lives of many people. Memorials may be made to the Donor's Choice.
