Roman H. Wood, 85, of Columbia, IL, passed away at St. Anthony's Hospital, Mehlville, MO. He was born in Black, MO, the son of John and Delse (Troutman) Wood. He had worked at Columbia Quarry and had been a past member of Zoar United Church of Christ, New Hanover, IL, Columbia american Legion Post #581, and a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post #6368, Dupo, IL. He served as a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He was married to Barbra (Campbell) Wood. They were married on July 31, 2007, at Waterloo, IL.
