Roland C. Schilling, 74 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at home with his family at his side. He was born in Belleville, IL, the son of the late Edward and Mary (Forness) Schilling. He was married to Joanne (Gomric) Schilling, who survives him. They were married on May 30, 1963, at East St. Louis, IL.Roland was a lifetime member of the S.I.U. Alumni Assoc., former member Illinois Principal's Assoc., Assoc. for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL, and the St. Clair County Angler's Assoc.
