Roger Lee Williams, 56, of Marissa, was laid to rest Friday, July 13, 2018 at St John’s Lutheran Church cemetery. He was born on June 6, 1962 in Red Bud, IL to Glenn and Esther Williams of Red Bud. Roger was a graduate of Red Bud High and worked at Singer and Red Bud Industries, Red Bud, IL and at Cerro Flow Products, Sauget, IL. Roger was an avid fisherman and enjoyed crafting wood furniture, lawn ornaments, and bird houses. Roger is survived by his two sons Kris (Kristin Dowling) with their son Logan Williams and Tyler (Carmin) Williams and his stepson Sylvester (Stephanie) Lambert. Roger is also survived by his mother, Esther Williams, two brothers Kenneth (Connie Kopp) and Arlin (Lori) Williams and two sisters Linda (Donald) Hargrove with their two children Chelsea (Bobby) Menard and Aaron, and Brenda (Brian) Chitwood with their three children Courtney, Andrew, and Bryce. Roger was laid to rest beside his father, Glenn G. Williams. Private burial services were held.
