Roger Gene Schubert Sr.'s Obituary
Roger Gene SchubertSr., 84 years of Millstadt, IL, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at HSHS St. Elizabeth Hospital in O Fallon, IL. He was born October 20, 1938, in Belleville, IL.
Roger was a retired Teamster from local 688, driving and delivering for Pepsi for over 40 years. He was a member of Zion Evangelical Church in Millstadt, IL., the Millstadt Commercial Club, the Black Knights and he enjoyed playing cards.
Surviving are his daughter, Pam (Bob) Forbeck, his son, Roger (Rachel) Schubert, Jr., and his daughter, Ginger Terveer, his grandchildren, Taylor (Joel) Becker, Kirby (Evan) Vogt, Amelia (Jeremy) Pour, Libby Schuhardt, Drake Terveer and Riley Terveer, his great-grandchildren, Jackson and Brooks Becker, Weston, Noah and Charlotte Pour, his lady friend, Thelma Holtmann, his Brother, Richard (Jackie) Schubert, his sister, Carol Severit, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Theodore and Florence, nee Rodemich, Schubert, his sister, JoAnn Skaer and his son-in-law, Jeffrey Terveer.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL. Private family services and burial will be held at Freivogel Cemetery in Millstadt, IL., with Rev. Darrell Weber, officiating.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Zion Evangelical Church 117 W. White St., Millstadt, IL 62260 . Arrangements were handled by Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL.
