Robin Renee Leistler, 52 yrs., of Waterloo, IL, passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Centreville, IL. She was married to Robert A. Leistler, who survives her. They were married on August 29, 1987, in Waterloo, IL.
Robin was a registered nurse, and had worked at the Monroe County Nursing Home prior to her disability. She had been active with the Monroe County - Relay for Life Team. She had a sharp wit, dry sense of humor, unending compassion for others, and was an inspiration to all she met. Her fight with cancer was epic.
